VisionDeutschland makes digitalization affordable
Technology Promotion
Technology for all
In the modern world, access to technology is no longer a luxury but a prerequisite for participation and equal opportunities. VisionDeutschland wants to make digitalization affordable for all citizens – regardless of their income or place of residence. Affordable. Secure. Human.
For every wallet
1. Digitalization for every wallet:
- Internet as a basic right / Internet for all: We want to enshrine access to the internet as a basic right. Free Wi-Fi in all public areas (parks, libraries, train stations) should become standard.
- Fiber to the countryside: In rural areas we promote the expansion of fiber networks to enable fast internet for everyone.
- Affordable devices: Subsidies for low‑income households, affordable leasing models and support for repair cafés, so that everyone can afford modern hardware and no one is left behind.
- Digital competence centers: In every region, centers for free training and support in digital basics and safe internet use are being established.
Open Source First
We are ending the dependence on tech giants in administration.
2. Open standards and Open Source:
- Cost savings / Promote Open Source: Public funds for open software instead of license fees to large corporations. This drastically reduces costs and supports Open‑Source communities.
- Digital sovereignty / More competition: We control our own code. Open standards prevent monopolies, lower prices and increase choice and innovation for all citizens.
VisionDeutschland for strong data protection
In the digital world, our data becomes a valuable asset. We protect privacy and give citizens control back.
Our measures:
- Data minimisation: Enough with the data-collecting mania! Data is only collected when absolutely necessary.
- Purpose limitation: Data is used exclusively for the purpose for which it was collected.
- Short retention periods: Avoid data waste through shortened periods, based on strong Swiss data protection law.
- Secure data management: State-of-the-art security standards and encrypted systems to protect against hacking.
- Transparency: Every citizen has the right to know what data is stored for what purpose – simple access guaranteed.
- Data sovereignty: Citizens decide themselves about the storage and processing of their information.
- Consent: No processing without active consent.
- Data portability: Easily transfer data between providers to strengthen competition and avoid dependence.
Stop the digital shackles! VisionDeutschland says No to CBDC
NO to CBDC (Digital Central Bank Money)
Cash is freedom! It enables anonymous and self-determined payments. We decisively reject CBDC as a tool for total surveillance and censorship.
Why we reject CBDC:
- Total surveillance: The state gains control over every payment transaction. Financial privacy is destroyed.
- Censorship and manipulation: The risk of account suspension or transaction blocking of unwanted persons by the state.
- Danger to freedom: CBDC makes citizens transparent and manipulable in the digital surveillance state.
Our alternatives:
- Cryptocurrencies: Promotion of decentralized alternatives like Bitcoin for anonymous and censorship-resistant payments.
- Blockchain technology: Promotion of secure and transparent solutions in finance, health, and administration.
- Keep cash: Guarantee of retaining cash as a symbol of freedom and protection of privacy.
Digital education
3. Digital education - Practice early:
We strengthen digital education from the start. Playful learning in kindergartens and primary schools fosters natural curiosity and imparts early competencies.
Lifelong Learning:
Continuing education offers for all age groups, so that citizens can keep pace with the constantly changing digital world and take advantage of its opportunities.
Germany 2.0: Vision of Germany's 4-Year Plan for Technological Progress
Digitalization in Turbo Mode:
- High-speed Internet: Nationwide fiber rollout and introduction of 5G/future standards in all regions.
- Digital Infrastructure: Massive investment in data centers, cloud computing, and secure data networks.
- Education: Digital competencies as an integral part of curricula from kindergarten to university.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics:
- AI Research: Germany as a leading AI hub through support of startups and excellent research conditions.
- AI for All: Development of applications for medicine, education, administration, and business for the benefit of all people.
- Ethics of AI: Responsible use through clear ethical guidelines for citizen safety.
Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering:
- Innovation: Advances in medicine, agriculture, and environmental protection through new drugs and sustainable technologies.
- Ethical Responsibility: Genetic engineering must not be abused for profit maximization.
- Clear Boundaries: Interventions in the human germline are prohibited. Humans are not objects of technology.
Spaceflight and Space Research:
- Investments: Development of new technologies for exploring space and our place in the universe.
- Cooperation: Strengthening international community projects.
- Peace: Exclusive peaceful use of space. No weapons in orbit.
Technology with a Human Face
Technology should serve humans, not the other way around. We secure jobs and protect health.
Jobs of the Future:
- Human over Machine: Technology as a tool that supports and relieves, rather than destroys jobs.
- Synergy: Collaboration of human creativity and AI in Industry 4.0 to increase productivity.
- Social Security: Reskilling and financial support for the transition into new professions.
Service to Health & the World:
- Avoiding Hazards: Robot deployment in hazardous environments (mining, deep sea, firefighting).
- Medical Precision: AI to improve diagnoses and support surgeons and nurses.
- Global Solutions: Use of technology against poverty, hunger, and disease, as well as for energy-efficient construction.
VisionDeutschland focuses on a human-centered technology policy: easing work, protecting health, and improving quality of life.
