Integration & Identity
Jews in Germany
"VisionDeutschland" says: Jewish life is an enrichment for our culture, but Zionism is incompatible with our values. We want a Germany where Jews feel safe and at home, but we reject all forms of extremism and nationalism.
Part of our history and present
Cultural Treasure
We acknowledge that Jews have been an important part of German society for centuries and have enriched our culture. We want a Germany where Jewish life can thrive and Jews can freely practice their religion and traditions.
Memory culture
We remember the victims of the Holocaust and commit ourselves with all our strength against every form of antisemitism. Our goal is that Jews feel unconditionally safe and secure in Germany.
Reject Zionism
Peace and justice for all. We clearly differentiate between faith and political ideology.
Clear distinction
We unmistakably differentiate between Jews and Zionists. Zionism is defined as a nationalist and extremist ideology that is incompatible with our core values of peace, justice, and tolerance.
No place for extremism
Zionism has no place in Germany. We reject all forms of discrimination and violence, regardless of whom it is directed at. We call for peaceful coexistence of Jews, Muslims, Christians, and people of all other worldviews.
Additional aspects
Strengthening the communities
We actively support Jewish communities in Germany and promote interfaith dialogue to build bridges between faith communities.
Culture & History
Targeted promotion of Jewish culture and the living memory of Jewish history in Germany as an integral part of our national identity.
Unity in Respect
The goal is a society built on the values of freedom, justice, and peaceful coexistence. Jewish life in Germany is an irreplaceable part of our shared journey.
