In the service of people
Reform the railway
"VisionDeutschland" says: Enough with overcrowded trains, delays and outrageous prices! We will make Deutsche Bahn again what it should be: a reliable, affordable and modern means of transport for everyone.
Railway back to public ownership – citizens ride again!
Nationalisation
We nationalise Deutsche Bahn and end the sell-off of our infrastructure. The railway is an important public good and should not be subordinated to the profit interests of a few shareholders.
Common good
The needs of citizens are at the center: affordable tickets, punctual trains, a dense network, and first‑class service. The railway serves the people, not profit.
Transparency & Co‑determination
We create full transparency in Deutsche Bahn and involve citizens in important decisions. The railway belongs to the people, and the people should also co‑determine!
Mobility for all
Free for all Germans – A massive step towards freedom!
- Local transport free: For all residents of Germany, the use of the train in local transport is free. This immediately eases households and strengthens cohesion.
- Social justice: Mobility must not be a privilege for the rich. We guarantee access regardless of income.
- Environmental protection: Free local transport is the most effective lever for climate protection and the reduction of individual transport.
- Relief: Elimination of ticket machines, controls and complex fare systems in local transport.
Tourist-friendly – Welcome to Germany!
Affordable tickets & fixed prices
Germany will become an attractive travel destination for the world. We will significantly lower prices for tourists and introduce fixed prices for certain routes to provide planning certainty.
Multilingual service
Information and support in multiple languages at all train stations and on trains will become the standard.
Bureaucracy reduction & efficiency
Digital revolution
Digitalization of the railway from the ground up. No more paperwork for applications, permits and administration. That saves time, money and nerves.
- Modern IT: Investment in high-performance systems to optimize punctuality and operations.
- Lean structures: Flat hierarchies and short decision paths instead of bureaucratic thicket.
End waste
Every euro counts. We will eliminate unnecessary luxury, expensive company cars and representative buildings of the leadership.
- Manager salaries: Abolition of excessive pay. Focus on cost awareness and the common good.
- Transparent financing: Citizens have the right to know where every euro goes.
Fair wages – appreciation for employees!
Salary increase +10%
Immediate wage increase for train drivers, track workers, and switch operators by at least 10%. Those who keep the railway running must be paid fairly.
Profit sharing
Savings from bureaucracy reduction are directly passed on to employees. We promote a culture of appreciation.
Good working conditions: Modern workplaces and real work-life balance for motivated professionals.
