Let’s do something different!
Military, Foreign Policy, NATO
Reimagining Germany’s Security: Strong, Independent and Sovereign
VisionDeutschland stands for a strong and sovereign Germany that takes its security into its own hands. We want a Bundeswehr capable of effectively defending our country, and a foreign policy that puts our national interests at the forefront.
Stop arms exports: Enough of the bloody business!
Germany is one of the world’s largest arms exporters. VisionDeutschland says: Enough of the bloody business! We will end arms trade and make a statement for peace and disarmament.
- No more arms trade: Germany will no longer sell weapons to other countries, regardless of circumstances. We no longer want to be complicit in wars and human rights violations.
- Control arms production: Strictest control and limitation to the needs of the Bundeswehr. No manufacturing for export. Reduce weapons production to the necessary minimum.
- Industrial retooling: Support for shifting to civilian production. Securing jobs by using know‑how for peaceful purposes.
- Future technologies: Development in areas such as renewable energy or medical technology instead of war materiel.
Defensive defense systems: Shield for the world
We focus on strong defense, but do not supply weapons for offensive wars. Instead, we develop cutting‑edge defense systems that protect other states from attacks.
Protection from aggression
Development of cutting‑edge systems exclusively for defense purposes. Contribution to peacekeeping without the risk of arms race.
Rental instead of sale: We rent the systems to partner states, but retain full operational control. Our technology never falls into the wrong hands.
Control & Sanctions
In case of misuse of the defense systems, we reserve the right to immediately shut them down or withdraw them.
PENALTY: 1 BILLION €
In case of proven misuse of our technology, the relevant state will be fined this amount. A clear statement against intolerance towards misuse.
Strengthen peace policy: Diplomacy instead of violence
Diplomacy & Dialogue
Resolve conflicts peacefully. Promote international cooperation and work for a just world order respecting human rights.
Disarmament
Advocacy for global arms control. Restricting arms trade and preventing proliferation. Vision of a world without wars.
Peace research & education
Investment in understanding the causes of conflict. Providing skills for peaceful problem solving for all citizens.
Military – Guarantee of security: Modern, powerful, defensive
Full armament
Massive modernization of the armed forces with the latest technology. Goal: A powerful army for effective self‑defence without dependence on other states.
- Cyber defense: Massive investments to protect critical infrastructures in the digital arena.
- Drones & Robotics: Deployment of unmanned systems to protect our soldiers and increase efficiency.
- AI & Space: Use of artificial intelligence for planning and logistics. Development of our own satellite systems for reconnaissance.
No overseas deployments
German soldiers will no longer be sent into wars. The focus is exclusively on defending our own country.
- Exceptions: Humanitarian aid or peacekeeping measures in direct German interest.
- Parliamentary reservation: Only with approval and under strict observance of international law.
- Technological leadership: Own development of cutting‑edge military technologies secures independence and strengthens the economy.
NATO – Alliance or ballast?
Open-ended review of membership taking into account the changing security situation and the growing tensions among great powers.
- Neutrality assessment: Analysis of the pros and cons of a neutral role for Germany.
- Obligations: Examination of the duty to assist for compatibility with an independent foreign policy.
- Alternatives: Evaluation of European defense cooperation or bilateral agreements.
Foreign policy – Peace & Prosperity
End of ideological foreign policy. Pragmatic and neutral contacts with all states, regardless of the system.
- Economic focus: Alignment with Germany's prosperity. Securing raw materials and markets.
- Trade relations: Export promotion and fair agreements for German companies and workers.
- Dialogue compulsion: Communication also with states that do not align with our values – diplomacy is the only way.
The security roadmap
