Citizen's Allowance Limitation
The citizen's allowance is an important bridge to catch people in distress. But our goal is that everyone finds their place in society and can support themselves. Therefore, the citizen's allowance is time-limited and supplemented by individual support.
Maximum 1 year: For all employable people limited to 1 year. This time should be used to actively seek work or further education. Long-term recipients receive a transition period of 6 months.
Activation: The time must be used. We consistently prevent long-term unemployment. No one falls into the hole: Intensive support and accompaniment secure the re-entry.
Individual Support: Tailored plans based on strengths and weaknesses. Language courses, professional further education, psychological support or childcare assistance.
Basic income as a foundation: It gives every person the security to cover basic needs. It allows more freedom, self-determination and strengthens motivation for active participation.
